Returns Policy

Please read carefully before purchasing:

  • All sales are final. In accordance with New Zealand consumer law, we do not accept returns on change-of-mind purchases. Please do not return any goods, as they will not be accepted.

  • We honour all obligations under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA). If a product is faulty and meets CGA criteria, we reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion.

  • Our warranty period is 90 days from the date your order is confirmed as delivered by the courier.

  • If you believe an item is faulty within this period:

    • Contact us with clear photos and an accurate description of the issue.

    • We will assess the claim and determine whether a repair, replacement, or refund is appropriate.

  • We do not refund or replace items that have been damaged due to misuse, including but not limited to:

    • Biting, chewing, or tearing by pets

    • Loss of breakaway collars

    • Use beyond the product's intended strength or capacity

    • Excessive wear of cat collars by cat grooming
  • Please choose products appropriate for your pet:

    • For example, a $10 dog collar is not suitable for a Rottweiler, and a $20 lead may not perform like a heavy-duty or leather alternative.

Collar ID Bands

  • All Collar ID bands are tested at our HQ before dispatch.

  • After 90 days, bands are not covered under warranty, as normal wear and exposure to:

    • Saltwater

    • Rough play

    • Environmental elements
      may cause premature wear.

  • We do offer free replacement bands provided you have purchased your Collar ID from us with the customer covering the shipping cost Click here to order

  • The black text on Collar IDs is permanent under normal use. Fading is typically caused by:

    • Flea or worm treatments

    • Harsh environmental chemicals
      Please remove collars and tags before applying any topical treatments.


Exchange Policy

We offer one-time size exchanges under the following conditions:

  • You must request an exchange within 30 days of confirmed delivery.

  • Items must be:

    • Unused and in resellable condition

    • Returned in original, undamaged packaging

    • Free of pet hair or dirt

  • Shipping costs to and from Purr. Meow. Woof. are the responsibility of the customer.
