Returns Policy
This policy has been established to give you the comfort of knowing that, subject to the conditions set out below:
- If any product you purchase online from Purr. Meow. Woof. is found to be defective, or it does not meet your needs, we will happily repair or replace the product, or offer you a refund or credit
- This policy includes the rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act and provides you with benefits in addition to those rights.

How long will my order take?
All orders before 12pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched the same day. Custom tags or anything laser engraved will take 1 day to make and send.
If there are any supply issues we'll be in contact to let you know.

Where is my order shipped from?
We ship all orders from our Christchurch warehouse. All laser engraving is done in-house at our Christchurch warehouse.

My order hasn't arrived?
Get in touch with us. And we will be able to track the item.
Once the item has left our warehouse then we lose control over the page, this includes lost or stolen packages. If this is the case you will need to contact the courier company to organise compensation, we can assist with any paperwork.
If it has been shipped to the wrong address you'll need to contact the courier company to do this. If it hasn't been shipped then please get in contact asap to change.

Contact us and we'll be happy to resend. We suggest checking spam boxes.

Do I need to create an account?
Not at all, but it helps with orders, returns and wishlists. Because it will log your purchases if you need to buy more in the future you'll know the sizes and colours you've previously ordered.

I've found an error with your website or the price doesn't seem correct.
If you find an error or something wrong please get in contact and we'll sort it.

Can I edit an order I've placed?
Yes... But only before it's been shipped. If you've recieved shipping confirmation then you'll need to follow our returns process

Not once an item has been ordered.

Get in contact with us asap and we'll sort it. We keep a strict audit on our stock so can find a discrepancy quickly.

Where do you ship to?
We ship anywhere in New Zealand including rural.

The product I received is faulty or defective.
If you receive a faulty product from us or it is damaged in transit on delivery to you, you can return it to us and our team will investigate. If the product is faulty we will replace the product with an identical product or a refund at our discretion.

What are your shipping charges?
We offer $5.00 flat rate to NZ and $7.50 flat rate to rural. Spend over $60 to recive free shipping anywhere in NZ.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
As we use a courier service to deliver your order, we are only able to deliver to a physical address and not P.O. Boxes, Private Bags etc.

Has my order been shipped yet?
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will be sent a email to confirm your order is on it's way.

Can I return a product if I change my mind?
We are only happy to offer you the ability to return a product within 7 working days of delivery. We do our best to make sure the product has the correct photos, measurements and dimensions and is accurately described for you. However if for some reason it isn't what you're after you'll need to reply to your order confirmation email with the reason for return. Return freight is at the buyers expense. And must arrive back in an unopened, resellable condition and with our Purr. Meow. Woof. seal intact, any item that doesn't will be returned to you.
Custom tags are not able to be returned, however if there's a problem with them please let us know and we'll put it right.
Clearance and end of line products are not available for change of mind returns.

Do I need to show proof of purchase for returns?
Yes, all returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase. You can send us the confirmation email for this purpose.

Do I get a refund on shipping?
There are no refunds on delivery charges unless the item is faulty and you are eligible for a refund. If your product is faulty or damaged in transit, we will replace the item and ship it at no additional cost to you.

Can I exchange a product?
If you wish to exchange a product you can contact us and we will advise you on how to organise this. Returning the product back to us is at your expense.
We advise double checking measurements before ordering. If you are in doubt or aren't sure please contact us via first and we an advise.

How long will it take to receive a refund?
These can take up to 7 working days after a claim has been accepted. We will email you to confirm this.

Can I ship to an overseas address?
No, We only ship to NZ at this stage.

Clearance items
Please be aware we do not accept returns on clearance items. However if the item is faulty we will offer a repair, replacement or refund depending on the situation.

We offer a 30 day price guarantee on all our products. This means if we put an item on sale and you've brought it within 30 days we'll issue you with the difference on a Purr. Meow. Woof. gift card. This is not automaticly and you'll need to contact us here

Do you offer gift cards?
Absolutely. Click here to order one. These have a two year expiry. You will be emailed the voucher once you've made payment.

Who owns Purr. Meow. Woof.?
We are owned and operated locally in Christchurch, New Zealand. We're big enough to get the best stock and prices, but small enough to listen, help and do everything we can to see every customer is a happy one.

Do we support local animal charities?
We sure do. Every collar and pet tag sold supports a local rescue or shelter, and the best part? You get to choose who. On the product page simply select who you would like us to make the donation to and we'll add that to our donation tally for the month.
